HESCO has become the most widely used shooting range ballistic barriers in the USA and military protection overseas. They consist of sand or dirt filled wire gabions prefabricated and delivered folded into multi-cells and lined with non-woven geotextile. Standard modules consist of 5 folded cells that can be extended and joined using joining pins. They can be easily installed using non-skilled  manpower and commonly available equipment.
